Advil Coated Tablets, 0360, are Ibuprofen Tablets that provide 200 Mg of a Pain Reliever and Fever Reducer (NSAID). This medication is formulated with a coating to help protect the stomach.

Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing substances in the body that cause inflammation, pain, and fever. Advil Coated Tablets can be used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains due to the common cold, flu, sore throat, headaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, and muscular aches. It can also be used to reduce fever.

These coated tablets are designed to be swallowed whole and should not be crushed, chewed, or dissolved. The enteric coating helps protect the tablet from being broken down by the stomach acid, allowing more of the active ingredient to reach the small intestine where it can be absorbed.

Adults and children 12 years and older can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not to exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor. Do not take more or for a longer duration than recommended. Doing so may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, which can be fatal.

Advil Coated Tablets should be used with caution in those with a history of stomach problems, such as ulcers or bleeding, as NSAIDs can increase the risk of developing these conditions. Individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, liver disease, or who are taking blood thinners should consult a healthcare provider before using this product.
